I was getting our gear out of the shed when I saw the first one. There were 3 more more under the pier. These are the biggest spiders I've ever seen. Does anyone know what kind they are? I think they may be Wolf Spiders but let me know. In the first photo all you can see is one of it's legs. If you double click and view the photo full size you'll see it. I'm sure it was trying to trip me.
Congratulations King and Queen for winning YARD OF THE MONTH. The last photo shows a flock of turkeys and a Crane in the field behind them. They're kind of small but if you double click the picture you can view it full size.
Looks like spring is on it's way! The snow's almost gone and the buds are starting show. Lisa is doing well in Greece. We've talked to her a couple times and she really seems to be enjoying it. She is having a problem with her computer but she has access to machines at school. We tried to send her a package but apparently it's lost. Oh well, it's nothing that can't be replaced.
The day that Lisa has been waiting for finally arrived. She left for Greece today. She'll be gone until June. If anyone is interested in sending e-mail let me know and I'll send you her address. Once again, Mother Nature blessed us with great weather, clear blue sky! We'll keep everyone posted.
Well, as can see and probably remember the weather was lousy on Friday night but Mother Nature smiled on us Saturday. It was great to see everyone at the wedding and reception. Jan and I hope everyone had a great time.
Jan and I were shopping for Christmas presents and we stopped at Wild Birds Unlimited. They gave us a "free" bag of bird seed. So, we broke out the old bird feeder and put it up. Of course, the free bag didn't begin to fill the feeder but after another trip to Wild Birds Unlimited the problem was solved. We haven't seen any birds yet but Mr Squirrel has been here!!
