Shootin' Turkeys

Hey there Outlaw2! As you probably already know, I drive the church van once a month. I pick up a women at Cora Maria nurseying home and I've been trying to "shoot" these turkeys for months. Finally, today, I bagged 'em. How's my hunter terminology?

Inlaw4 and I went out to Severson Dells last week. I "shot" a couple deer and posted their pictures on the Mills' Mail blog.

Cabin Clean Up

Hey there King and Queen. Here are some pictures of the cabin from last weekend. You'll notice that there is a new cabin being built across the lake. It seems they just keep building them bigger and bigger. The Lake is low and if you look at the pier you can see the white dot you painted to line up the shore station. You can easily see how far back the station is. Also, Jack, Jess and I cleared out some of the old trees and brush on Quick's property. It looks better but there are still several dead trees that could come down. There are pictures of Kiss' place, one of Outlaw1's favorite cabins, and Leo's place. I even included a couple of the night sky even though it wasn't much sun it still looks great. If you don't recognize some of the spots give me a call.

March Madness Picks

I'm out of it. Inlaw4 picked Ohio State to go all the way. I guess we'll find out tomorrow just how good she is. Next year I'm planning to copy hers and put some money on it.

Julie's guy Dave bought a house in late December. They had a house warming party this weekend with about 45 guests (his and her parents, co-workers, and bunches of their friends). It was a fun fun time. We got to visit with the kids, meet Dave's folks, and see our newest grandson TUCKER. He is 6 1/2 weeks old and weighs over 11 pounds already. He's got a good start on his full grown 200 plus pound male adult size typical of English Mastiffs.

Men's NCAA Tournament

Guess who correctly picked the final 4 in the men's NCAA tournament. That's right, inlaw4 has 'em all. How did you guys do?

Hey Guys, Remember V-Day

Just thought I would send out a quick reminder to all the guys that tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

Euchre

Last night we invited King and Queen over to see what we did to spare bedroom (Bethany's). Not only did they come over they brought a crock pot full of stew with them. There is a god!!

After 3 very close games of euchre, King and Queen bested us 2 to 1. At one point in the rubber match K & Q scored 22 of 24 points. We closed the gap but in the end fell short 32 to 28. At least we played better than the Bears.

Ugly, Ugly, Ugly

You gave me a gal. of left over paint last fall and I finally used it to prime Bethany's bedroom. Turns out the color was only a shade darker than what was on the wall. The paint covered really well. It should be dry in an hour or so and then it's on to the ceiling and walls (again).
