Hello from Memphis

Hey there everyone. I'm in Southaven working at our Distribution Center. It's been really hot and we've been working a lot of hours. I'm out in the warehouse working on cleaning up the LTL area. We're making progress but it's slow going. I had a couple hours this afternoon so I went to the riverside park in downtown Memphis. It was great to get out of the warehouse. I'll be back on Friday.

I'm staying off of Goodman and the DC is located at the next exit off 55s.
The pyramid is empty. From what I understand it's for sale @ 12M but no buyers.

Everyone seemed to enjoy "that game". It seems easy enough but I know I never got the hang of it.

Family Reunion

Hey everyone!. Here's this years family reunion picture. Lisa and Brandon left early but they had a long drive back to MI. I have a couple more but they'll have to wait until I get back.

And of course, everyone got to meet JJ. What a cutie!!

With Olivia's now 6 hours away, something had to happen....

The Fourth of July 2008

The fishing was great but that's not all we did. We took a walk everyday usually up to Honeyrock and back. The flowers were blooming and Jan picked some for the dining room table.

Congrats to Brandon for catching the biggest fish. He caught a 19" Northern. Matt caught the largest Walleye at 13.75" and a 10" Perch. Bethany caught the most but everyone caught fish. It was great fun.
Dave put in a new pier and put the old one in the bay. Here he is out enjoying the sunrise.
One night we took a drive to see deer and we weren't disappointed. This girl was a little shy!!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. We really enjoy the cabin.

Hey everyone! The Rockford Air Fest is going on this weekend and we live in the flight path. The weather is not cooperating 100% but enough to let them fly. When they fly over they are really loud. Kinda cool, kinda spooky.

San Diego

Hey everyone. I got back from CA late Friday night. I spent Thursday night with some of my co-workers in San Diego and La Jolla taking in the sights. The trip was successful but I'm really glad to be home. See you soon.

Behind every man stuck in a rut is a good woman to push him along. However, not being familiar with literally pushing a vehicle out of mud, Linda was quite surprised with the mud facial. What one won't do for a "turkey" or a turkey.

Providence

Hi everyone! I'm in Providence this week for Green Belt training. I flew in on Sunday and the weather was great. Today it's been cloudy, rainy and cold. I can see the capital out of my hotel window but I walked up there to take the pic. I was suppose to fly back on Saturday but I found out the training class ends Friday at noon. I managed to change my flight and will be coming home on Friday night instead. See you soon!

Spring??

Could it be that spring is finally on it's way? The cardinals usually eat at the sunflower feeder on the back fence. I caught this one up by house eating the safflower seeds. Yesterday, Inlaw4 saw a couple Robins and today we had half a dozen house finches. The junko's have been around all winter and they'll probably be taking off soon. They don't stay long once the weather starts to warm up. Last year a Rose Breasted Grossbeak stopped for a couple days so we'll keep a look out. Spring will get here eventually!
